Journal of Economics and Organizational Pathways (JEOP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research at the vital intersection of economic theory, institutional dynamics, and organizational development. Positioned as a premier multidisciplinary scholarly forum, the journal serves economists, management scholars, corporate strategists, organizational behavioralists, and public policymakers worldwide. JEOP prioritizes rigorous empirical research, macroeconomic evaluations, and innovative strategic frameworks that address the complex "pathways" organizations take to navigate shifting global economies. By bridging macro-level economic conditions with micro-level organizational strategies, the journal fosters a deep, comprehensive understanding of how enterprises evolve, adapt, and sustain growth amidst market volatility, regulatory shifts, and technological disruptions.

Scope and Topics
Reflecting its mandate to map the trajectories of businesses within broad economic landscapes, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, critical literature reviews, and empirical case studies that offer significant contributions to the following thematic areas:
  • Economic Strategy & Corporate Pathways: Strategic management, corporate growth models, competitive dynamics, and organizational decision-making in response to macroeconomic cycles and market disruptions.
  • Organizational Behavior & Human Capital Economics: Labor economics, organizational psychology, talent acquisition and retention, change management, and the socio-economic drivers of workplace productivity and culture.
  • Institutional Economics & Corporate Governance: The impact of monetary, fiscal, and regulatory policies on business operations, institutional evolution, board dynamics, and ethical leadership structures.
  • Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Adaptive Pathways: Agile organizational design, startup trajectories, venture scaling, business model innovation, and the economics of technological adoption.
  • Sustainable Economics & ESG Trajectories: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) integration, circular economy models for businesses, sustainable resource management, and the pathways to long-term corporate resilience.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and timely dissemination of critical business and economic research, JEOP is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on organizational resilience during global economic crises, paradigm shifts in labor economics, or breakthrough organizational design models may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process
JEOP enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, analytical objectivity, and methodological validity across economic and management disciplines.
  • Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or a relevant Subject Editor to assess thematic alignment, methodological soundness (quantitative, qualitative, econometric, or mixed-methods), and structural compliance. Plagiarism screening via Turnitin/iThenticate is strictly executed at this stage, requiring a similarity index below the journal's maximum threshold.
  • Expert Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are anonymized and assigned to at least two independent international reviewers who are established academic experts or senior industry practitioners in the specific domain of economics or organizational management.
  • Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on the intellectual merit, theoretical rigor, and practical applicability of the work to organizational pathways and economic systems.
