TerraNova Technology Journal (TNTJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research at the intersection of Earth systems engineering, environmental technologies, spatial geomatics, and sustainable planetary stewardship. In an era marked by rapid environmental transitions and technological advancement, TNTJ provides a multidisciplinary forum for earth scientists, environmental engineers, geomaticians, computational modelers, and sustainability practitioners. The journal prioritizes high-impact contributions that harness emerging engineering tools, artificial intelligence, IoT sensing, and clean technologies to monitor, model, and mitigate environmental and geological impacts on terrestrial ecosystems.
TNTJ welcomes original empirical research articles, computational framework proposals, technological case studies, and systematic reviews across earth and environmental technologies. Key thematic domains include, but are not limited to:
Earth Observation & Geospatial Technologies: Satellite remote sensing, LiDAR, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) terrain mapping, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and spatial big data analytics.
Environmental Sensing & Ecological Monitoring: IoT-enabled environmental sensor networks, real-time pollution detection, watershed monitoring, soil health diagnostics, and smart biodiversity tracking.
Clean Terrestrial Technologies & Remediation: Bioremediation techniques, soil stabilization, sustainable land-use innovations, carbon capture and geological sequestration technologies, and eco-restoration engineering.
Geological & Environmental Hazard Mitigation: Early warning systems for landslides, flood risk modeling, seismic monitoring systems, climate adaptation infrastructure, and wildfire prediction analytics.
Smart Planetary Engineering & Circular Resources: Sustainable mineral extraction technologies, regenerative agricultural engineering, circular solid waste management, and renewable earth-energy systems (e.g., geothermal systems).
TerraNova Technology Journal (TNTJ) is published triannually (3 issues per year: April, August, and December), operating an online-first continuous publishing model to ensure rapid peer review turnaround and immediate global open-access dissemination.
To uphold rigorous scientific standards and technological reproducibility, TNTJ enforces a strict double-anonymous peer review protocol. All submitted manuscripts undergo preliminary editorial screening to assess thematic alignment, originality, methodological soundness, and similarity index metrics (conforming to COPE guidelines). Manuscripts passing desk review are evaluated by at least two independent international experts in earth technology, environmental engineering, or computational geosciences. Review criteria emphasize technological novelty, experimental/computational rigor, data validity, clarity of exposition, and translational environmental impact.
Mission Statement: "The mission of TerraNova Technology Journal is to accelerate sustainable planetary technological solutions by publishing rigorous, peer-reviewed, and forward-looking research, bridging earth sciences with advanced technological innovations, and providing open-access knowledge to protect and regenerate terrestrial environments worldwide."
