Syntrik: Journal of Multidisciplinary Intelligence is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research at the convergence of artificial intelligence, cognitive systems, computational intelligence, data science, and cross-domain intelligent applications. Grounded in the principle that future breakthroughs in intelligence require transdisciplinary synergy, the journal provides an academic forum for computer scientists, AI researchers, cognitive scientists, roboticists, and domain specialists across engineering, healthcare, economics, and the social sciences. It prioritizes scholarship that explores foundational AI theories, hybrid intelligence frameworks, autonomous systems, and the transformative integration of intelligent technologies into multifaceted societal systems.

Scope and Topics

The journal welcomes original empirical research articles, foundational theoretical frameworks, algorithmic innovations, and comprehensive reviews across all dimensions of multidisciplinary intelligence. Key thematic domains include, but are not limited to:

  • Artificial & Computational Intelligence: Deep learning architectures, reinforcement learning, evolutionary computation, neural-symbolic systems, and explainable AI (XAI).

  • Cognitive Systems & Human-Machine Intelligence: Cognitive modeling, human-in-the-loop systems, affective computing, brain-computer interfaces (BCI), and collaborative decision support.

  • Intelligent Robotics & Autonomous Systems: Multi-agent systems, autonomous navigation, swarm intelligence, cyber-physical systems, and robotic perception.

  • Applied Multidisciplinary Analytics: AI applications in precision medicine, computational economics and FinTech, smart urban infrastructure, environmental informatics, and legal-ethical tech governance.

  • Data Engineering & Semantic Technologies: Large language models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, ontology engineering, edge-cloud intelligence, and multimodal data fusion.

Publication Frequency

Syntrik: Journal of Multidisciplinary Intelligence is published triannually (3 issues per year: April, August, and December), operating an online-first continuous publishing model to ensure rapid peer review turnaround and immediate global open-access dissemination.

Peer Review Process

To uphold academic integrity and scientific rigor, the journal enforces a strict double-anonymous peer review protocol. All submitted manuscripts undergo preliminary editorial screening to assess thematic alignment, novelty, methodological validity, and plagiarism index metrics (adhering to COPE standards). Manuscripts passing desk review are evaluated by at least two independent international experts specializing in artificial intelligence, computational modeling, or relevant applied domains. Evaluation criteria center on theoretical depth, algorithmic/methodological soundness, data reproducibility, clarity of presentation, and cross-disciplinary impact.

Mission Statement: "The mission of Syntrik: Journal of Multidisciplinary Intelligence is to accelerate transdisciplinary discovery by publishing rigorous, peer-reviewed computational and cognitive research, bridging fundamental algorithmic theories with impactful domain applications, and providing open-access scientific knowledge to shape intelligent, ethical, and resilient global systems."
