Omniverse Academic Review (OAR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries, embodying a truly universal and transdisciplinary approach to academic inquiry. Positioned as a premier holistic scholarly forum, the journal serves researchers, epistemologists, scientific innovators, social scientists, and global policymakers worldwide. OAR prioritizes rigorous empirical studies, comprehensive meta-analyses, and visionary theoretical frameworks that address the interconnected, multi-dimensional nature of global phenomena. By conceptualizing the academic landscape as a unified "omniverse," the journal fosters a deep, comprehensive understanding of how the convergence of natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and advanced technologies can solve complex global grand challenges and advance human knowledge as a collective, indivisible whole.

Scope and Topics
Reflecting its universal and transdisciplinary mandate, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, critical meta-reviews, and empirical case studies that offer significant contributions to the following thematic areas:
  • Transdisciplinary Studies & Epistemology: The philosophy of science, meta-research, cross-disciplinary methodologies, knowledge integration, and the deconstruction of academic silos.
  • Global Grand Challenges & Sustainability: Integrated approaches to climate change, global health crises, circular economies, sustainable development goals (SDGs), and socio-ecological resilience.
  • Technological & Human Convergence: The societal and ethical implications of disruptive technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, biotechnology, quantum computing), digital humanities, and human-machine ecosystems.
  • Social, Cultural & Behavioral Dynamics: Globalized cultural shifts, cognitive and behavioral sciences, socio-economic inequities, geopolitical transformations, and adaptive public policy.
  • Complex Systems & Network Sciences: The study of interconnected networks, systems theory, ecological dynamics, urban ecosystems, and data-driven modeling of complex global phenomena.
Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and timely dissemination of critical transdisciplinary research, OAR is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on urgent global crises, paradigm-shifting scientific convergences, or breakthrough epistemological models may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process
OAR enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, analytical objectivity, and methodological validity across a vast spectrum of disciplines.
  • Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or a relevant Subject Editor to assess thematic alignment, methodological soundness (quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, or meta-analytical), and structural compliance. Plagiarism screening via Turnitin/iThenticate is strictly executed at this stage, requiring a similarity index below the journal's maximum threshold.
  • Expert Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are anonymized and assigned to at least two independent international reviewers who are established academic experts capable of evaluating the transdisciplinary nature of the submission.
  • Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on the intellectual merit, theoretical rigor, and practical applicability of the work to universal academic advancement.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Omniverse Academic Review (OAR) is to deconstruct entrenched disciplinary silos and catalyze the development of a holistic, interconnected, and evidence-based knowledge paradigm within a rapidly evolving global society. Grounded in the philosophy that the world's most profound challenges and greatest discoveries lie at the intersections of diverse academic fields, the journal aims to democratize advanced universal knowledge by providing an unrestricted, high-impact platform for global scholarly dialogue. Through the promotion of diverse and rigorous methodological approaches, OAR seeks to empower visionary researchers, inspire forward-thinking policymakers, and shape future-proof, sustainable, and highly integrated ecosystems worldwide.
